Chirpstack no join accept
WebApr 15, 2024 · The next step i need is to recreate, using my board, a downlink packet, specifically a join-accept one. Using my custom code on a board i’m able to send a custom join request and get the relative join-accept, but when i send out a packet using the same transmission parameters (using another board) my board seems to ignore it. After joining, it tries to send the Uplink packets but it could not be seen on the Gateway.

I’m not sure exactly how, but it appears that the devices were moved to a different application or the application ID changed somehow, and therefore the LoRa nodes are no longer recognized by Chirpstack.

If there is a slow connection from the server to the gateway, the join accept message may be sent too late (this can happen when a gateway uses 3G as a backhaul). In LoRaWAN 1.0.x there is no difference between a replay attack and a re-transmission.
