When they have diarrhea, they need several additional cares for defecation during the hemodialysis sessions and for infection control at dialysis facilities. WebCritical Considerations: Follow Dialysis Hypoglycemia Guideline. Blood Glucose (BG) < 70 and patient unable to take oral glucose administer 25 ml, BG < 40 and patient unable to take oral glucose administer 50 ml. Repeat BG after 15 minutes and repeat dose in accordance with guideline. Notify provider if BG doesn’t improve.
