Go back to the altar and use your ice shards to make ice, and as a side effect you get manifestations of zeal. Its like all thing that are low on the ground like spider / crocodile / some small rock and iron vein ... I swing my weapon / tool and miss. Any hint to help because I need 100 ice shard and I have 7. Thank.

As an axe it gathers wood worse than a basic stone axe and rarely gives ice shards. It also doesn't seem to be a good weapon and doesn't harvests ice shards from bodies.
