Cyclophiline a
WebPPIA / Cyclophilin A is a member of the peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPIase) family. PPIases catalyze the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides and accelerate the folding of proteins. The encoded protein is a cyclosporin binding-protein and may play a role in cyclosporin A-mediated immunosuppression. WebOct 31, 2013 · Abstract and Figures. Cyclophilin A (CyPA) is a ubiquitously distributed protein belonging to the immunophilin family. CyPA has peptidyl prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPIase) activity, which ...

Interleukin-6 (IL-6) is a pleiotropic cytokine, exerting variety of effects on inflammation, immune response, hematopoiesis, and tumor proliferation. WebLoss of fragile histidine triad (Fhit) expression is often associated with human malignancies, and Fhit functions as a tumor suppressor in controlling cell growth and apoptosis, although specific sig
WebFeb 8, 2024 · Cyclophilin A (CyPA) is an abundant protein belonging to the immunophilin (IMM) family. As such, it is characterized by the presence of a signature domain of the family, the peptidyl-prolyl isomerase (PPIase) domain, which is capable of catalysing the cis↔trans isomerization of peptidyl-prolyl bonds ( Nigro et al., 2013; Zgajnar et al., 2024 ). WebMar 29, 2024 · Cyclophilins are a family of ubiquitous and highly conserved proteins with peptidyl prolyl isomerase (PPIase) activity, which catalyzes the cis–trans isomerization of peptide bonds at proline residues. 1, 2 CypA (cyclophilin A) is the most abundantly expressed and first identified cyclophilin among the 18 known human cyclophilins. 3 It …
