WebDec 13, 2024 · The goal is to enable a smoother transition from WCF to gRPC on .NET Framework and then to gRPC on .NET Core / .NET 5+. Trailing headers ( dotnet/runtime#44778 ). For .NET Core 3.1 / .NET 5 and higher, trailing headers are exposed in HttpResponseMessage.TrailingHeaders.
