WebJan 10, 2010 · In need of a pull up bar that fits crown molding? My house is old, and this has "deep" (2") crown molding on all the doors. The Iron Gym says it won't fit moldings that wide. WebThen you put one end of the bar into one bracket and twist it to lengthen it and put it in the other bracket. It's the same type as I have but my brackets come out much further which makes it less likely to come out from twisting or fall off the frame.
