Webb9 feb. 2024 · He was a captain in Oliver Cromwell's invasion of Ireland in 1649 and was granted by the "Act of Settlement of 1666" twenty-four townlands in the Barony of Coshlea, Co. Limerick, and nineteen in the Barony of Clanmorris, County Kerry. His descendants lived in Ireland holding various public offices.
