After menopause the lining should be around 3-5mm thick. So mine was definately over grown. It was from the HRT, and once I stopped the lining went back to normal. Websagittal plane and endometrium is measured at its thickest part from one basalis layer to the other 9. The endometrial echo should be seen through the entire length, from the fundus to the cervical canal 10. Endometrial fluid, when present, should not be included in measuring endometrial thickness.
